3/4 Yesterday the plywood carrier arrived and I spent some time playing with it. The Gator Lift is designed for carrying single plywood sheets and uses a hinge method to clamp down so one person can lift and carry a piece of plywood. The pamphlet says that you can carry up to 1 1/8″ thick sheets.

All you have to do is place the gripper clamp over the top edge and lift it up and it clamps down on the sheet automatically. Then to release it you just set the piece down or gently push down on it to release. One of the guys at the wood shop had one and I just had to have it. It looks pretty cool and I can’t wait to try it!
