6/3 Last Friday I pulled into a gas station and my back wheel got caught on the bumper at the pump. I was caught between the bumper and the curb and had to back up to get out of it. I didn’t notice the damage until the next day. You should have seen all of the yellow paint! It looked bad, and Bro gave me some paint thinner that removed most of it. What a mess

I took the van to a collision center and was quoted $3K for the repair! He was concerned about the van conversion being a fire hazard so I will take the van to the RV guy. Then I will have to file a claim with the insurance company and let them know that the repair will be done later.

The collision guy said that this is just surface damage and is totally driveable. So I’ll be on my way soon.
