7/11/2020 I am in the most amazing place in the world and get to work here all summer!! The bad news is that there is no internet connection and this is the first time I’ve been able to get to my blog site to write, so postings will be off and on moving forward. I arrived safely and saw many things on the way.
6/30/2020 I was on the road until June 22 when I checked in with Delaware North HR in West Yellowstone, MT. What a great journey it was! Driving almost 2000 miles alone was a daunting but fun experience, as I had so many wonderful stops along the way. The weather was rough on the 12th because of the storm Cristobal, but I made it through Minnesota ok. The Mississipi River was swollen and looked liked it was cresting and I decided that I don’t like driving over big rivers. Fortunately, I only had to cross two of them.
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail because of the time length of the trip but here are some highlights and the pix are on Instagram. Please follow me on dawalker61.
South Dakota: Palisades State Park, Badlands, Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood

Wyoming: Devils Tower

Montana: Billings, Bozeman, West Yellowstone

Wyoming again: Yellowstone, Old Faithful Basin

I will try to post more pictures as soon as I can. My internet connection is non-existent so I won’t be posting very often, but I am able to post on my Instagram account.
Stay safe and have a great summer!
