Hi, life gets hectic and I finally found some time to design and create the back window and CR Laurence side window for the van. I found some cute home dec fabric at Vogue Fabrics in Evanston, IL, along with black out lining and cotton batting. I made a “sandwich” with the batting between the lining and the home dec fabric, added a couple of pockets for 2″ donut hole magnets and sewed them to the top. I found that the cover was long enough, but not quite wide enough to cover the entire outside width of the window, but it should be fine. The cover is heavy and will need and additional magnet on the top. I will also add some tabs and the sides and bottoms for more magnets to make sure it’s nice and secure.
